OUR EXPANDED 2026 – 2027 SEASON
Singers of Summerville is delighted to announce our 23rd concert season, featuring a new partnership and two collaborative performances with the Summerville Orchestra. In addition, Emily Reeves Bohl, our Artistic Director and Conductor, has crafted an extraordinary selection of music for our two standalone concert programs this year, Long Time Traveller and Beyond.
LONG TIME TRAVELLER
Our Fall 2026 stand alone concert, Long Time Traveller, is a portrait of the Appalachian mountains and their memories, featuring a variety of music which excites, enchants, and inspires. The rich beauty of our American musical landscape is a mirror, reflecting the culture and expressions of the many, not the few. Folk Hymnody is one such expression. Woven from the traditions of Scottish, Irish, and English settlers, borrowing from their ballads and modal melodies, and coupled with spiritual texts of the 18th and 19th centuries; the folk hymnody of Appalachia is as powerful and vibrant as the mountain ranges where it was born.
There are several ways to purchase tickets. Our regular concert ticket price is $15.00 each.
- Early-bird tickets can be purchased online in advance, through Ludus, at a price of $10.00, up to one week before the performance.
- After Early-bird ticket sales end, tickets are available at the regular price of $15 online or at the door, starting 30 minutes before the concert begins.
- Student tickets (18 and under) are available for $5.00, ONLY at the door before the performance.
Singing in the holidays
Summerville’s favorite holiday spectacular is back and we will be joining the Summerville Orchestra and Summerville High School Choirs for this special concert full of holiday cheer that brings to life some of the most iconic, nostalgic, and joyful sounds of the season.
General Admission is first come, first served, with the exception of ADA/Wheelchair seating. If you need accessible seating, please call 843-873-5339 to exchange your ticket.
Friday:
- Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
- Pre-concert talk at 6:30 p.m.
- Performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday:
- Doors open at 1:45 p.m.
- Pre-concert talk at 2:00 p.m.
- Performance begins at 3:00 p.m.
The Friday performance will include ASL interpretation. ASL interpretation for Saturday performances is available upon request. Seating is available under the ADA/Wheelchair tickets.
Please silence all devices and have your tickets ready upon entry.
Once again we are going to have our Holiday Market available for you. More information of the venders will be released as we get closer to the concert.

SPiritual Journey
Music has always helped humanity search for meaning. We are delighted to join Summerville Orchestra for this musical experience. Spiritual Voyage explores that universal journey through sounds both ancient and modern. From sacred Latin texts and Buddhist reflections to a powerful Swahili version of “The Lord’s Prayer” and a cinematic exploration of faith and personal conviction, this powerful concert celebrates the many ways people seek connection, hope, and meaning.
GA stands for General Admission and is first come first serve with the exception to the ADA/Handicap seating. If needed, please call the off at 843-873-5339 to have your ticket exchanged.

BEYOND

Time, space, identity, love, divinity. These are the intangible, inexplicable constructs which drive and define us. They are beyond our comprehension or control, beyond the here and now, and beyond us. Featuring music for choir and percussion ensemble, Beyond is an ode to that which we see, feel, and know but cannot fully grasp: the truths that are mysteries, and questions that are answers…that which is beyond.
Tickets for our Spring Concert will be available for sale in January 2027.
